Daylight Saving Time (DST) means that many countries shift their clocks forward by one hour in spring and back in autumn, which changes their UTC offset temporarily. The US, Europe, Australia and many other regions observe DST, but they change on different dates. The IANA time zone database (used by this tool) includes all these rules, so the displayed times are always correct regardless of DST.
